Review: GHOSTBUSTERS

Let me start off by saying how great this movie really was..IT WAS AWSOME lol now we can move on its out of my system. the whole cast was on point. I cannot really pinpoint a favorite which makes me love this even more. This movie got a lot of hate because the cast is woman and people this is so silly just give it a chance. The ghost is just a treat to look at the visual is beautiful and unfortunately Slimer does not have a lot of screen time in the movie maybe because he has a girlfriend now lmao and what I admire about this movie is that's its so kid friendly there was nothing in the movie that I can so NO CHILD should see this, in fact, its the other way around ANY CHILD can see this. The plot is Physicists Abby Yates (Melissa McCarthy) and Erin Gilbert (Kristen Wiig) are co-authors of a research book which posits the existence of paranormal phenomena such as ghosts. Erin has disowned the work and become a professor at Columbia University, while Abby continues to study the paranormal at a technical college with eccentric engineer Jillian Holtzmann (Kate McKinnon). Erin learns Abby has republished the book, threatening her bid for tenure at Columbia. She reunites with Abby and, in exchange for Abby removing the book from publication, reluctantly agrees to assist her and Jillian in a paranormal investigation.
The group witness a malevolent ghost (Bess Rous), renewing Erin's belief in the paranormal. However, a video of their investigation is posted online, and Erin is denied tenure. She joins Abby and Jillian's project, but when a new institute director learns its nature, he fires them. They open an office above a Chinese restaurant and call themselves the "Conductors of the Metaphysical Examination." They build equipment to study and capture ghosts and hire dimwitted but handsome Kevin Beckman (Chris Hemsworth) as a receptionist. and this still does not give the movie away. For the first time in a long time, this movie is worth a BUY easily give this a chance and enjoy I give this an easy A.

Review: Lights Out

The main reason I was pumped about seeing this movie is because it was staring Mario Bello. She is one of my favorite female actresses and she plays the role of strong-willed woman very well. So I'm ready and I start the movie and she is there being portrayed as a crazy mother almost with a hint of schizophrenia I was a little disappointed by Mario Bellos role in the movie, but if you can give this movie a chance she proves to be the BAD BITCH I know her to be. The rest of the cast was so-so and it's basically a story of a mother going insane by a ghost and she is fighting this ghost to protect her children long story short she has a son and the son has to go stay with the daughter and that where the shit hit the fan so I gave it a C its not horrible but not great either and it did not scare me one bit,,,,so if your bored and want to see a movie without getting to excited give it a try.

True Horror

True Horror yall this man breaking in a door to grab yer pussy......hey I got a sense of humor lmao

Wine question of the day "Why Horror?"

I have asked myself countless times "Why is Horror My favorite Genre?" I love the fact that horror can teach you valuable lessons and no one has taught me that than Stephan King when he did with
It was like watching the REAL end of the world and you have to pick a side to be on which will it be and what's the benefit and to do the right thing because its the right thing to do just a brilliant book and movie.
Horror stands the test of times when it comes to seeing them and experiencing the lesson in  this Genre that comes next to it is Thrillers and I think Horror and Thriller are just bedfellows in the genre so I'm investigating them the older I get and sharing what I learn about them and the impact they have on us human beings
My theory is I hated going to school but I love learning and that's what we all are on this earth for to learn and grow

Review: Dead End

Christmas Eve. On his way to his in-laws with his family, Frank Harrington decides to try a shortcut, for the first time in 20 years. It turns out to be the biggest mistake of his life. This is the first time I was introduced to Lin Shaye who was also in 2001 Maniacs and Insidious she is my favorite Scream Queen of all time if you see her name in a movie it might be worth seeing. This movie hands down is one of my favorite movie of all times so DO NOT GOOGLE IT FOR THE THREAT OF SPOILERS go and rent this its worth every penny

Review: The whip and the body

Oh this is such a romantic on the borderline of bdsm horror movie that I have seen in a long time, Very stylish with a great story background, Art plays a big theme with this movie and Italian horror has that theme they play into. Cass is a bad man so bad his own father fears and loathes him. He wears fear around so good all fear him and the next thing you must think to yourself watching this is...What do people do when they fear something? enjoy this movie

Shudder

Shudder is a service like Netflix but way cheaper and with a great selection of movies, Me and my husband have been horror fanatics for 15 years and when we first discovered Shudder we were skeptical at first, but once we signed up and found out its 5 bucks a month we figured this is something worth trying and we are really pleased with this subscription service. There are older movies in this collection that were wowing to me and there were some new ones that blew my socks off. I would advise on one thing MAKE SURE YOU ARE REALLY A HORROR FAN. There are some movies on here that cross the line a bit but its  horror and my take on pushing the envelope is simply pass whatever movie does cross the line because there is so much to choose from.

Once you subscribe they will send you a email announcing when they release new movies and I have been getting new release emails like 3 times a month and its so worth it, the catagories are amazing you learn quick that there are different genras of horror and it will keep you entertained all year long so take a look at it for yourselfs at www.shudder.com
